Barbara

Barbara began Spa Essence in 1997 with a partner.   She became the sole owner of Spa Essence in 2006 and has built a wonderful team of professional stylists, nail techs, shampoo techs, and estheticians,   She specializes in waxing and has built a loyal following of people who drive a great distance for her.   She also does professional makeup applications for special events.

Currently Barbara resides in Bucks county with her adorable dog Portia and enjoys travel and sports.

Salon Manager

Julie

Julie is our current salon manager.   She has been with Spa Essence since 2009 where she began her career as a receptionist and gradually added more responsibility and hours until she earned her current position.   Julie assists Barbara Weiner, the owner of Spa Essence, in the day to day operations and running of the salon.   You may hear her voice when you call to book an appointment on most days.  She enjoys the social aspect of her job and getting to know each client personally.

Julie has 4 daughters and 4 dogs and resides in Bucks County with her husband.    She enjoys traveling and spending time with her girls and her friends.

Receptionist

Carole

Carole spent her time working for an attorney and a doctors office before she came to Spa Essence.   She has been a receptionist with us for 3 years.
You probably hear her voice if you call the salon on a Thursday or Friday.

She is an integral part of the desk team at Spa Essence and always has something positive to say to make your day better.   
Carole is active in her church and has 4 sons and resides in Bucks county with her husband, Norm.

Master Stylist

Sandy

Sandy is an award winning Master Stylist, with over 30 years of experience. She is a color artist specializing in Redken hair color and all multi tonal design including highlights and bayalage.
Her focus is always on the client and their hair journey.

Sandy takes pride in her long lasting client relationships, and is grateful for her loyal following.

Debbie

Debbie has 30 years of experience as a hairstylist and was a platform artist/educator for Nexxus, Framesi and Zigarelli. Debbie has owned and operated her own salon for 7 years in Palmyra, New Jersey.

Master Stylist

Michelle

Michelle is a master colorist who specializes in color correction and balayage. Communication is the key to making her guest happy.

Michelle is also a Goldwell educator for the past eight years and believes in education and keeping up with the latest techniques and trends.

In her spare time Michelle enjoys her family and friends, gardening and cooking.

Michelle is a graduate of MBIT and has been a stylist at Spa Essence for the past 18 years.

Senior Stylist

Madalena

Madalena attended Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in University City, Philadelphia.   She began her career in Newtown, PA where she further trained and worked for over 2 years.   Madalena joined the team at Spa Essence in 2018 and has enjoyed putting down roots professionally and personally with her husband, Ethan and puppy “Zeke”.   

She specializes in pixies, short cuts, balayage and many color and cutting techniques.  She has a passion for hair and making people feel beautiful.  Growing up with 3 sisters really helped her along the way on her hair journey.  She loves experimenting and doing things in new and different ways.

Master Stylist

Anne

Annemarie prepared for her career by studying hair design at Jean Madeline in Philadelphia. She then went on to become an assistant at Salon Montage in Willow Grove for a year while apprenticing senior stylists to sharpen her skills.

Annemarie then began to build her clientele at Vovi Hair Design in Willow Grove. She brought her friendly and loyal clients with her to Spa Essence 22 years ago, where she feels most at home.

Annemarie specializes in maintaining good communication with her clients to ensure that she gives them exactly what they want so they can leave our salon feeling their best.

Amy

Amy has been in the hair industry for 35 years and has been with Spa Essence for 21 years.   She has a loyal following and many of her clients have been with Amy her entire career. Amy specializes in single process color, cuts, highlights and does beautiful special occasion work.

Senior Stylist

Stephanie

Stephanie has been at Spa Essence since 2014.  She lives in Warminster and graduated from MBIT in 2015.  She began her career as a shampoo tech at Spa Essence in 2014 and began assisting/training and worked her way up to a stylist position.   

She became a full time stylist in 2017 and has honed her skills in every area.   She specializes in balayage, all sorts of color, and special occasion work.   She is also certified in Hot Head extensions.    Stephanie also has a love for nail art and can offer pedicures, manicures and gel manicures.   

She loves to travel, explore local attractions, and finds interesting and fun things to do.   She is a fantastic baker and plays tennis and kayaks in her spare time.

Carly

Carly is a graduate of MBIT and graduated June 2020.  She began as a shampoo tech for a salon in Feasterville before finding her home at Spa Essence.  She began shampooing for us in 2020 and is steadily moving up and onto the floor here. She is building her book at Spa Essence and is looking forward to her future here.

She is a twin and one of four girls in her family and grew up involved with sports and played many all through high school.
In her off time Carly enjoys the outdoor life, hiking and spending time with friends.

Bianca

Bianca us a local warminster girl who joined us this year after completing her education at Jean Madeline And shadowing another stylist for several months.   She communicates well with her clients and is looking forward to a long career at Spa Essence.
